I speak to the hearts and minds of men and women, to boost their positive energy, stir their imagination, and expand their desire to help the human spirit thrive.
I didn’t set out to be a speaker, it just happened, and now I have the privilege of addressing small and large groups in innovative and engaging ways. There is nothing more gratifying than triggering people’s desire to be more and to make a difference.
Over the years, as a fitness trainer, community facilitator and college professor, I developed expertise in wellness, leadership, team building, group facilitation, positive psychology, personality traits and active learning, all great topics for keynotes and workshops. And, I tend to question the status quo, which often stirs audiences and students imagination.
All of my keynotes and workshops, regardless of the topic, reflect one basic theme; the human spirit thrives when surrounded by positive energy and the more positive energy you generate the more joy will come to your life.
I have lived in Canada and the United States, in urban and rural areas and, tropical and cold environments. I currently live in South Dakota with my husband Garney a former professional football player and coach. Between us we have six adult children. Together we are devoted to our grand dog, a pit bull named Baby. I am a volunteer for the American Red Cross and do all I can to promote my community and make it a better place to live.
I authored a book called Whole Weigh: How to Quit Dieting and Start Living a Healthy and Whole Life. The book reflects my core message and basic theme in all my work, focus on the positive and you will experience more joy and success in your life, including your health and well-being.
